Small Equestrian Home

Passion for horses and animals has been the main driver for the development of the 10 acres of land on the farm. In 2007 equestrian rights were gained and this initially was followed by two stables being erected in the farm cottage paddocks along with appropriate fencing. This promoted the development of a stable yard housing eight stables and tack rooms. This was done progressively over a number of years along with improvements in overall facilities.  Today the small equestrian home offers quality private stabling where horses and riders can enjoy the tranquil setting and the many facilities which now exists: stabling, manege, jump field, numerous paddocks, canter straight and hay storage. Typically 8 to 12 horses are around to provide the atmosphere and homely feeling sought after, and each horse and each rider is always encouraged to work as a team at all times.

Small Holding

Never forgetting the miniature horses, which have been an important part of the farms equestrian development, and who now have a bespoke homely setting in the small holding - they bridge the horses with the animals which includes ducks (they have there own pond) and cats. Regrettably, the farm lost its Rottweiler dog - The Duke 2 years ago and that really was a sad day for the whole team. Looking forward a nanny goat could be on the list but we will have to wait and see.

Roy Grundy Business Consulting

Mixing today, business strategies with business passion and farm setting pleasure, combined with years of experience and skill all making a unique mix of excellence from Eastfield Equestrian Farm. Founded in 1992 Turnaround was started in Staffordshire by its long-serving Managing Director Roy Grundy (and in 1994 merged into Grundy Enterprises Limited), where Turnaround emerged from a tough UK industrial background by working with and helping ailing companies survive a time when the industry in the UK was experiencing hard times and major marketing contraction. this was then followed by the emergence and growth of SME (small to medium enterprises) where Turnaround has played a part in the market sector by working with companies to introduce strategic changes and major developments. Starting new companies is a risky business, as too is helping ailing ones because these statistics show the failing rates are high, but trying to go it alone makes failure even more likely. Sounds negative but unfortunately its often true and therefore Turnaround sets off to use its experience and excellence to minimize failure and help create success. "watching your back while seeing your future" is a key brand line of today's turnaround as too is the fact that taking advise as the right time can prevent a high cost for attempting to "event the wheel". HELP IS ON HAND so never feel afraid to ask.

Grundy Enterprises LTD - G.E.L

Formed in 1994, GRUNDY ENTERPRISES LTD - G.E.L  was first used to bring together a number of business ideas and developments, and since that beginning, it has effectively formed a corporate umbrella to house the many ongoing business consulting activities and opportunities that have emerged over the years. At the core of G.E.L from day one of its conceptions has been its turnaround consulting arm, where business planning, strategic changes, and developments, general support, acquisitions, disposals, and merges have all been carried out successfully. The nature of this work has by definition meant dealing with business failures as well as business success but turnaround has always fought hard to ease the pain if a full recovery has not been possible. Leading on from this work has been many business assignments, including interim management and directorships, where business planning and the introduction of strategic changes have been central to the assistance provided. Working in the SME market has also opened doors to helping smaller companies plus taking on business ownership and finding many new business contacts. For example, GEL has developed excellent business dealings with China since the first meeting in 1996 Today G.E.L plays its part in the business activities at Eastfield equestrian farm and it maintains a strong sense of awareness for new ideas and new challenges.
